This year has been filled with many exciting changes for ZAPP\u00ae, and we’re happy to announce that there are plenty more in store for 2014! As we close out the year, we want to wish you all happy holidays and catch you up on what’s been going on in the land of ZAPP\u00ae.<\/p>\n

New Feature Spotlight: Introducing Jury Bookends<\/strong>
\nShows use our monitor method to jury applications can now activate a setting that allows jurors to see thumbnails featuring the artist body of work before<\/em> seeing each individual image one at a time.<\/p>\n

When this setting is “active,” the first slide a juror would see is something similar to the image below:

In Memoriam<\/strong>
\n\"\" We are deeply saddened to report the passing of our longtime salesperson, Cindy Tharinger, who died peacefully in her home on November 20. Cindy was our first and only sales consultant, joining the ZAPP\u00ae team shortly after the system launched in 2004. Her optimism and passion for the arts helped ZAPPlication.org grow from 10 shows at launch to the more than 600-show system it is today. ZAPP\u00ae will continue to benefit from her advice and hard work. Many of you met or worked with Cindy over the last nine years and can understand how much she’ll be missed.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
